My Passion for Organic Food
Food always interested me. Starting with my taste buds to now health, Food was my passion. I now realise why I was not a great engineer. A late discovery but a good one. Moving from IT to organic food took sometime for me due to various factors, However I feel arrived at “Native Origin”.
My passion for food has turned bigger in last couple of years. I have researched and tried many products myself. Entire 2021 will mostly be of trials by myself.
I have found some unique products like red potatoes, kashmiri rice, honey amla, mishri gulkhand, virgin coconut oil fried banana chips, organic red dragon fruit and so on.
It took us more than 1 year and we have only 2 products on our website. Organic does not come fast, it does have repeatability in terms of producing it as well as selling it. Customers who once get a taste of the quality of product do not move as market does not have much quality options (although there are many certified products, they still lack quality).
We start from our first product A2 gir cow ghee. There are several in the market but we still sell ours at high price.
Whats so great about our ghee?
We have our own A2 gir cows. We feed them only organic produce grown on the farm. We specifically take care that the calf first has his half and then the milk is taken for our ghee. Thus milk quality itself is superior. There is no other standard than quality of milk as thats the only ingredient in it.
But folks tell me its expensive. Answer is below:
Yes, Quality has its price. But thats how all our products will be placed in direct to consumer market.
Next year will be a big one where we launch all our products. The idea is to connect consumers to farmers. Customers will know “native origin” of the product.
